Reverend Jared W. Secret was born in Washington D.C. The son of a career Air Force Chaplain, his family moved quite often, giving him the opportunity to see much of our country and Europe. They lived in Maryland, Colorado, Germany, Indiana, and Alamogordo, New Mexico, where he graduated high school.

After spending the first 15 years of his adult life in business management and 3 additional years of regional oversight in the mental health field, Pastor Secret answered his own call to full-time ministry.  He has pastored with The United Methodist Church for 9 years, with appointments at FUMC in Melrose (NM), FUMC of Crane (TX) and Union Church of Grandfalls (TX) as a dual-charge appointment, and FUMC in Silver City (NM).

Pastor Secret has a B.A. in Psychology from New Mexico State University, a M.A. in Religion from Liberty University, and a Master of Divinity from Harrison Graduate School.  He is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry through Fuller Theological Seminary.
