Amazing Grazing is a group, not limited to women, that enjoys the diversity and challenges of cooking, and fellowship. It has been in existence for about 10 years. We meet from 11:00 to 1:00, and start with a demonstration of a dish or food item, an appliance (air fryer, etc.) or a cooking technique. After the demo, we eat. Each person brings a dish conforming to a predetermined category, such as Italian, soups, vegetarian, pineapple, etc. Each person brings the recipe of the dish he or she has brought, and makes it available for copying for the group to take. After the meal, there is a business meeting to discuss the next month’s category and who will be responsible for the demonstration. Sometimes there is a fun activity instead of a demonstration. Some of the fun activities have been a Food Jeopardy, a blind taste test, a utensil Olympics. Amazing Grazing is open to anyone who wishes to attend. Because of the logistics involved in the demonstration, and for seating, we would appreciate your letting us know if you plan to attend. The January meeting will be on Tuesday the 10th; the category is soups; the demonstration will be tortillas. Please contact Penny Price by email or text or phone call if you are coming to the new Amazing Grazing–email is firstname.lastname@example.org; cell phone is 505-620-3928.
